Performance and Capability

All Armadas are powered by a 5.6-liter Endurance V-8 producing 400 horsepower and 413 lb-ft of torque. The engine is paired with a 7-speed automatic transmission which features Adaptive Shift Control and Downshift Rev Matching. All grades offer a choice of rear-wheel drive or Nissan’s advanced Auto 4WD system. The system features an electronically controlled transfer case with Auto, 4HI, and 4LO modes. All Armada grades have a maximum towing capacity of 8,500 pounds with standard trailer brake controller and trailer sway control on SV and higher grades. EPA estimated city/highway/combined mpg for rear-drive Armadas is 14/19/16 with just a single mpg drop across the board for 4WD models.

Design and Features

The Armada features a sharp, chiseled exterior with a distinct kick-up in the rear quarter windows that sets it apart from other models in its segment. C-shaped LED daytime running lights wrap around LED high and low-beam headlights with 50 individual LED elements.

The cabin greets you with an exceptionally clean design. The 12.3-inch touchscreen is fully integrated, yet mounted high to minimize eye diversion from the road. Physical analog gauges give a sense of driver confidence, and all other physical controls are within easy reach. All grades provide wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android AutoTM integration, Bluetooth for streaming and phone use, Hands-free Text Messaging Assistant, and two pairs of USB type-A and Type-C ports.

All grades feature a 10-way power driver’s seat and 8-way power front passenger seat. Seating for eight is standard on all models, with Captain’s chairs available on SL and Platinum grades. Standard intelligent safety and driver assist features include:
