Performance and Safety

All Sentra models are powered by a 2.0-liter inline-four engine with 149 horsepower and 146 lb-ft of torque. The 2024 Sentra also receives a new Xtronic CVT designed to reduce fuel consumption while providing a smoother shift pattern. More fuel economy enhancement stems from new Idle Start-Stop technology, which shuts off the engine when the car is not in motion and smoothly restarts with the first push of the accelerator.

All Sentra grades are equipped with Nissan Safety Shield® 360, which bundles six advanced driver-assist technologies including:

• Lane Departure Warning
• High Beam Assist
• Rear Automatic Braking

All Sentras are also equipped with Intelligent Forward Collision Warning and is the only model in its class to use a haptic steering wheel, along with audio cues, to help provide safety alerts to drivers.

Interior and Features

The interior fuses the sporty with the practical. A flat-bottomed, three-spoke multi-function steering wheel sets the tone. Its lower satin-chrome finish lower spoke is echoed throughout the instrument panel with satin-chrome finish trim outlining all key interior controls. S grades have a standard 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system which upgrades to 8-inch for SV and R grades. Both feature Bluetooth®, Hands-Free Text Messaging Assistant, Apple CarPlay®, Android Auto™ smartphone integration, Siri® Eyes-Free, and Google Assistant™ Voice Recognition. The S provides drivers a 4.2-inch multi-information display, which upgrades to a 7-inch Advanced Drive-Assist® Display on SV and SR grades.
