Nissan Ariya Owners Getting Access To The Tesla Supercharger Network
The Nissan Ariya is one of the best choices for prospective buyers of an electric vehicle. Whether it’s your first or your tenth, the Ariya is priced well for buyers, starting from $40,980. Now, for 2025, owners will be able to use the expansive Tesla Supercharger network when they need to top off the batteries. According to the Department of Energy, there are currently nearly 30,000 Supercharger ports in the United States, with that number quickly on the rise.
Plenty of Places to Charge
Starting in 2025, the Ariya will use North American Charging Standard (NACS) ports. Coupled with the latest news on the launch of the NISSAN ENERGY charge network, with over 90,000 DC fast chargers available throughout the United States in partnership with Electrify America, Shell Recharge, ChargePoint, and EVgo, there has never been a better time to put a Nissan EV in your driveway.
A Variety of Trim Levels
The Nissan Ariya is available in nine different trim levels, including the Engage, Venture+, Evolve+, and Empower+, which come standard with front-wheel drive. The Engage e-4ORCE, Engage+, Evolve+, Platinum+, and Platinum+ with 20” wheels all feature e-4ORCE all-wheel drive technology. Depending on the trim level chosen, the Ariya has either a 160kW, 178kW, 250kW, or 290kW motor.
An Interior That Wows
Compared to other EVs on the market, the Ariya ticks a lot of boxes, especially regarding interior space and amenities. In testing, Car and Driver said, “The Ariya’s inspired interior design is its main advantage over rival EV crossovers. Patterned panels on the doors and bulkhead beneath the dash are backlit with ambient lighting and look quite elegant, while thoughtful touches such as a built-in smartphone charging-cord organizer are designed to reduce clutter. The cabin is spacious in both the front and the rear seats, and a modern-looking dashboard features a pair of curved 12.3-inch digital displays.”
Driving Range Across Trim Levels
The 2024 Nissan Ariya offers a good electric range across all trim levels:
- Engage FWD
- 216 miles
- Venture+ FWD
- 304 miles
- Engage e-4ORCE AWD
- 205 miles
- Evolve+ FWD
- 289 miles
- Engage+ e-4ORCE AWD
- 272 miles
- Empower+ FWD
- 289 miles
- Evolve+ e-4ORCE AWD

- Platinum+ e-4ORCE AWD
- 267 miles
- Platinum+ e-4ORCE AWD w/ 20” wheels

One Thing Customers Absolutely Love
One thing about the Ariya that customers seem to rave about is the placement of the charge door, with owners saying it’s located in the perfect spot to pull up and charge anywhere. While this may seem obvious, there are quite a few EVs out there that have their charge doors in awkward spots that are either too far forward or back on the vehicle. This makes it difficult to pull or back into charging stations or even up to a home charger, depending on where it has to be placed and where the car has to be parked.
Safety, Safety, and More Safety
Like other Nissan vehicles, the Ariya comes standard with Nissan Safety Shield 360, which features Automatic Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection, High Beam Assist, Bling Spot Warning, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Rear Automatic Braking, Lane Departure, and more. The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) has awarded the Nissan Ariya with its coveted Top Safety Pick designation.
