The Grand Nissan Z Legend, Parked Epically And Romantically

Auto shows and events are fantastic venues for automakers to present concept vehicles and tease vehicles we may see in the future. Nissan took the opportunity at this year’s SEMA show in Las Vegas, pulling out all the stops with unique Frontier and Kicks concept vehicles.

Frontier Concepts

The 2025 Nissan Frontier is the only truck in its class with standard V6 power, which comes from a 3.8-liter engine making 310 horsepower and 281 pound-feet of torque. It’s paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission and either rear- or four-wheel drive.

Nissan Frontier TrailgatorProject Trailgater

Nissan’s Project Trailgater builds on a 2025 Frontier Pro-4X pickup truck and was constructed in partnership with PowerNation TV’s “Music City Trucks.” The truck features several components from Nissan’s accessories catalog, including a lift kit and upgraded suspension. Nissan also equipped the Frontier with two 43-inch weatherproof TVs, powered coolers, a grill, and a camping sink.

Frontier TARMAC Concept

The Frontier Tarmac concept is a unique take on the street trucks that were massively popular in the 1990s. It features NISMO upgrades to the cold air intake and exhaust, delivering more than 400 horsepower to the wheels. It also has a widebody kit, a vented hood, and a NISMO suspension system with adjustable coilovers.

Kicks Concepts

Nissan updated the Kicks for 2025, giving it a striking appearance change, new tech, and more safety equipment. The new SUV is more grown-up looking than before, but it retains its value-forward attitude and pricing. It features a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine making 141 horsepower and 140 pound-feet of torque, a CVT, and either front- or all-wheel drive.

Nissan Kicks Beach PatrolKicks Beach Patrol Concept

The Kicks Beach Patrol concept features intelligent all-wheel drive and comes wrapped in a unique beachy livery. It sports 18-inch wheels with Yokohama Geolandar tires and a custom suspension lift.

Kicks Urban Shadow Concept

The Urban Shadow concept is inspired by tuner cars, which are wildly popular in Japan. It features 18-inch NISMO wheels, a lowered coilover suspension system, and a NISMO cat-back exhaust. It also features a roof rack and a funky Mobil 1 livery.

Nissan Z Legend Accessory Pack Concept

While the Z shown at SEMA wasn’t a concept, the accessories it carried were. The car features vintage-look wheels, a carbon rear spoiler, unique over-fenders, and custom decals. The C-pillar features a graphic that depicts seven gears to commemorate seven generations of the iconic sports car.

Concept vehicles aren’t usually sold to the public, but the standard Nissan Kicks and Frontier are worth a look. If you’re interested in learning more about these new vehicles or any other new Nissan model, come see us at Nissan of Rochester.
