Nissan Sponsors 2023 March Madness
Even as Princeton’s win against Arizona shattered brackets across the nation, Nissan of Rochester points out that the manufacturer of our products has returned as a major sponsor of this year’s March Madness. Nissan’s “Road 2” campaign will help bring you the excitement of the 2023 NCAA® Men’s and Women’s Basketball Championships, all through the Final Four.
Win a New Ariya
Nissan is again offering an online bracket challenge in partnership with CBS Sports. Enter online, your selections in both the men’s bracket challenge and women’s bracket challenge. One lucky winner of each bracket challenge will win four tickets to next year’s Final Four® game. For those of you who complete both brackets, you will be entered into a drawing for a chance to win an all-new, all-electric Nissan Ariya crossover. New this year, Nissan will be a co-presenting sponsor of ESPN’s Women’s Tournament Challenge bracket game, which provides fans the chance to compete in groups against friends.
For those watching on television, Nissan will feature advertisements for the all-new Ariya EV, Altima, Rogue, Z, and other models in its lineup in six separate television spots. The campaign features 16 team mascots as well as former collegiate basketball players Candace Parker and Kenny Smith, and current University of Southern California Head Coach Lindsay Gottlieb.
Share your fan experience on Tik Tok
Nissan’s partnership with TikTok prompts fans to share their live tournament throughout the countdown to the championships. TikTok users will receive a “Now” notification to post a video of how and where they’re watching the game, sharing the excitement with their followers. If you post your TikTok Now moments to your Instagram account, you will enter a sweepstake contest to win four tickets to the 2024 Men’s Final Four game in Phoenix. Nissan is the first brand to utilize TikTok Now alongside a larger campaign activation on the platform.
Nissan created additional opportunities for you to participate in the tournament virtually with Giphy stickers you can use on your social channels and an exciting video series with Bleacher Report challenging everyday fans to hoops contests.
“The March Madness tournaments give Nissan unlimited ways to be creative and connect with our target audiences as they share their passion for this annual cultural moment,” said Allyson Witherspoon, vice president, and chief marketing officer, Nissan U.S. “This year we’re thrilled to show our commitment to continuous innovation with a first-of-its-kind TikTok campaign.”
