The Golden And All-New 2025 Nissan Rogue

The Nissan Rogue last received a complete redesign for the 2021 model year and saw styling updates in 2024. The 2025 model year brings more improvements to the SUV, including a new, rugged Rock Creek trim, additional safety equipment, and more.

The 2025 Rogue retains the powertrain from its predecessor, which includes a turbocharged 1.5-liter three-cylinder engine making 201 horsepower and 225 pound-feet of torque. A continuously variable transmission (CVT) sends power to the front or all four wheels. The EPA estimates fuel economy at 30/37/33 mpg city/highway/combined for the front-wheel drive configuration and 28/35/31 with all-wheel drive. The Rock Creek pushes numbers down slightly further to 27/32/29 mpg.

The Rogue’s on-road behavior is compliant and comfortable, and it’s clear the SUV is tuned for comfort over performance. While it’s not the most athletic ride out there, its agreeable ride quality makes the Rogue a pleasure to live with as a daily driver.

The most basic trims get an 8-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, while the SL and Platinum trims get a 12.3-inch display with wireless smartphone mirroring. The top SL and Platinum are also available with three-zone climate controls, rear-door sunshades, and the Platinum is exclusively available with a Bose stereo.

The new Rock Creek trim breaks from tradition with its styling and stance. It features Falken Wildpeak A/T tires and a specially tuned off-road driving mode that tones down vehicle stability control systems. At low speeds, it offers a front camera view on the touchscreen.

All Rogue models come standard with Nissan Safety Shield 360. The package includes forward collision warnings, automatic emergency braking, automatic high beams, lane departure warnings, blind spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alerts, rear automatic braking, and more. The SL and Platinum trims add traffic sign recognition.

Pricing for the updated 2025 Rogue starts at $29,230 for the base S trim, with all-wheel drive adding a bit to that price at $30,640. Stepping up to the SV FWD model pushes pricing to $30,970, and the SL FWD begins at $36,090. The top Platinum FWD starts at $39,520.
